JP’s in the Community

The Qld Government have advised us that all JP Services are suspended until 7 February to mimimise risk to their volunteers.

While the JPs in the Community Program has been suspended, online witnessing services will also continue to operate and more information about these arrangements can be found here.

The suspension of the program also doesn’t prevent JPs and Cdecs from providing witnessing services, if they feel comfortable to do so, to members of the public who may contact them direct. The public can still access the services of a JP or Cdec through our after-hours JP Search function.

The JP Branch can be contacted for witnessing support during business hours on 1300 301 147 or [email protected].

Thank you for your ongoing support during these uncertain times.

KEEPING US SAFE:

When visiting the Justice of the Peace volunteers we request that you please –

  • BYO pen
  • Ensure you wash your hands before and after handling documents
  • Limit your interaction to 15 mins or less

We all play a part in keeping our community safe, and customers are expected to adhere to public rules whilst visiting Redbank Plaza, this includes:

  1. Check in using the “Check In Qld” QR code at the JP desk, this is a separate code to our centre QR code
  2. Staying 1.5 metres away from those around you
  3. Hand and respiratory hygiene – washing your hands regularly, use hand sanitiser and covering your face with a flexed elbow or tissue if you sneeze
  4. Staying home if you are unwell

We look forward to seeing you soon and thank you for your support.
